Kallimarmaro

“Kallimarmaro” is a renovation project completed in 2018. It involves the refurbishment of a 100m2 apartment located on the 3rd floor, behind the Panathenaic Stadium. The renovation was comprehensive, aiming to transform the space into a modern and functional living area. The apartment underwent a complete reconfiguration, with the integration of shared spaces and the separation of private areas. This new layout ensures a better flow and organization within the apartment. Natural light and ventilation were prioritized to create a bright and airy atmosphere throughout the space.

Smart solutions were implemented to optimize the functionality of the apartment. Handmade furniture adds a touch of uniqueness and craftsmanship, enhancing the overall design. The pattern of the building’s entrance was imprinted onto the kitchen floor, adding a subtle nod to the apartment’s surroundings and history. Sustainable practices were incorporated into the project, including the reuse of items and furniture from the apartment’s previous life. This not only reduces waste but also adds character and a sense of history to the space. Additionally, energy-efficient upgrades were made to improve the apartment’s energy performance and achieve self-sufficiency.

The kitchen and wardrobes were designed with a contemporary aesthetic, blending functionality and style seamlessly. The project involved thorough architectural and interior studies, ensuring every detail was carefully considered and executed. From planning to construction, every aspect of the renovation was meticulously handled to achieve the desired result. “Kallimarmaro” showcases a stunning interior renovation that harmonizes modern design with sustainable principles. The revitalized apartment offers a comfortable and stylish living environment, paying homage to its historical context and creating a welcoming home for its inhabitants.
